James Ward is the owner and lead technician of Ward Auto Racing, specializing in performance vehicles. With over seventeen years of experience in auto mechanics, James is highly qualified to take on your next auto repair, installation, or customization. His proven track record of diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues will make you feel confident that the job is done right the first time. His experience includes working as a technician at McGinnis Mitsubishi, Momentum Volkswagen, and Rolls Royce and Bentley Houston of Houston along with countless hours working on his own cars from home.

He is known for his award-winning MKIII Toyota Supra, which won Dyno Runner-Up at TX2K11, Best of Show at the Houston Supra Show and Shine in both 2014 and 2016, and Super Modified Class Champion at TX2K12. Currently, “Rudy” still holds the record for the world’s quickest mile MKIII Supra with the best time of 8.44 at 165mph with 1440hp. James lives at home with his two pit bulls, Carolina and Jade, in Waller, Texas, just outside of Houston. He also enjoys riding dirt bikes on his free time.
